How to teach in a pandemic – ICALLD webinar – Wed 21 Oct 2020

AALL is delighted to invite you to the new series of webinars run by the International Consortium of Academic Language and Learning Developers (ICALLD), of which AALL is a member.

The first of these, “How to teach in a pandemic”, was on 21 October in Australia and New Zealand, or the day before for our international partners.

Below are full details from the Convenors for this inaugural event.

Dr Carina Buckley, Instructional Design Manager at Southampton Solent University and Kate Coulson, Head of Learning Development at the University of Northampton are delighted to present the first ICALLD Symposium Webinar for 2020-21. Their session entitled: “How to teach in a pandemic” outlines how two different British HEIs approached their teaching and learning strategy pre-COVID-19, details what has happened during lockdown and how their pedagogical and technological approaches have changed (or not) during 2020.

This was a pilot webinar where ICALLD hopes to bring together colleagues from across the world to hear different perspectives which may inform thinking and allow colleagues to contribute their own approaches via a Q&A session.

For a summary of the webinar please go to the How to teach in a pandemic on the ICALLD website, where you can also find a listing of future ICALLD events.
