Connect. Inspire. Share. 2024 #2 – Designing discipline-specific ALL workshops

This is an invitation to our second Connect. Inspire. Share. session for 2024.

Alexandra García from the University of Sydney will be facilitating the session titled Designing discipline-specific ALL workshops.

This workshop shows an approach to the design of adjunct and embedded workshops that support students with the academic language aspects of specific assignments within Units of Study. These workshops are provided as the follow-up support of a non-compulsory Post Entry Language Assessment at The University of Sydney. Students attending support workshops have consistently performed significantly better than those who do not attend.

This session will be held online on Wednesday 24 April, 2024 from 1.00 – 2.00pm ADST (find the time in my location).
